Dear Sirs,

honey

We are pleased to offer you our new line of honey and related bee products!

Honey is known to have numerous health benefits.

It optimizes the condition and functioning of the internal organs, strengthens and purifies the blood, and improves the immune system. Honey is known to be a powerful source of energy, which is said to protect the body from premature aging.

The beneficial properties of honey stem from its natural biological origins and its complex chemical composition. The main properties of honey include crystallization, fermentation, hygroscopic heat absorption, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, an ideal viscosity and density, optical activity, and thixotropy. These properties make honey very easy to digest, so that the healing powers of honey are easily absorbed by the body. Therefore, honey is widely used in folk and traditional medicine to treat aliments and prevent disease. As honey can have a normalizing effect on the functions and processes of the body, research is constantly being conducted regarding its use in treatment of various diseases.

Honey is clearly known to have antibacterial, bactericidal, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. Among the substances which honey contains in ideal proportions are sugar, minerals, trace elements, vitamins, enzymes, biologically active substances, vitamins, H, K, pantothenic and folic acid, chlorine, zinc, aluminum, boron, silicon, chromium, lithium, nickel , lead, tin, titanium, and osmium, all of which are necessary for preserving health and proper nutrition.

Honey is considered a powerful restorative and health tonic

Honey can used for treating burns and wounds, as well as for diseases of the cardiovascular system, kidneys, liver, biliary tract, and gastrointestinal tract.

Natural honey has unique flavor properties.

Honey is often used in cosmetics, as it softens skin, improves skin tone, and heals dryness and flaking.

Honey - a great source of nutrition. The main nutrients of honey include carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and other nutritious substances. As it contains both glucose and fructose, honey provides a large amount of the energy which the body needs to function properly.

Ingesting 20-50 grams of honey every day significantly improves nutrition and metabolism. Honey consists mainly of fructose, as well as minerals such as potassium, magnesium, proteins and vitamins that are rarely found in other products. These components of honey strengthen the walls of blood vessels as well as the heart muscle.

Honey can slow down or prevent inflammatory processes in the large intestine and therefore is beneficial to the treatment of some forms of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, as well as hemorrhoids.

The antibacterial properties of honey exist due by the presence therein of specific substances known as natural inhibitors. Light varieties of honey contain more inhibitors than dark varieties do.

The nutritional value and benefits of honey are not in any way affected by conditions of storage, and honey retains its beneficial properties almost indefinitely.

At present, we offer the following varieties of honey in bulk:

Acacia honey - known for its quality and flavor. In its natural liquid state it is transparent, with a pleasant taste and the odor of acacia flowers. Its pH is 4.0 and it possesses moderate antimicrobial properties. Acacia honey is recommended as a restorative in cases of insomnia, gastrointestinal, biliary and renal diseases. Our honey is from the nectar of yellow acacia flowers, and it is very light in color, becoming thick and white upon crystallization, with medium grain. It is considered a premium variety of natural honey.

Sweet Clover honey - has a strong taste with a delicate aroma. It is white to pale amber in color with a sweet and pleasant taste. The unique aroma of Sweet Clover honey is reminiscent of that of vanilla. Crystallization can be average, fine or coarse.

Linden honey - one of the most prized varieties of honey, with a very strong and pleasant aroma. Its special flavor is easily recognized even when it is combined with other types of honey. Linden honey can be white, crystal clear, and rarely yellowish or greenish, but it is most often pale amber in color. Manchurian linden honey is amber-yellow, with a sharp pleasant scent reminiscent of the blossoming linden trees from which the honey originates. Linden honey is rich in lysine and histidine, and it contains 39.27% fructose along with 34.96% glucose. Its pH is 3.7. Linden honey is known for its distinctive nutritional and medicinal properties, which include strong antibacterial qualities. In particular, Linden honey is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, as well as against ciliates, amoebae and trichomonads, due to its unique mixture of antimicrobial agents. In addition, it has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory and mild laxative effect. Therefore, it is used for sore throats and colds, laryngitis, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, and kidney and biliary diseases, and it is known as a cardiac tonic. Linden honey can be used to help heal infected wounds and burns when applied directly to the affected skin.

Chestnut honey - derived from horse chestnut, the edible variety is dark. It has a pH of 3.0 and is very thin with a relatively bitter taste. Recommended for its antimicrobial properties and for gastrointestinal and renal diseases.

Buckwheat honey - dark yellow with a reddish tinge, but clear even when almost bronw in color. The specific taste "stings the throat." When crystallized it develops various textures. Contains 36-37% glucose and 40-42% fructose, with a very high protein and iron content. It is recommended as a supplement in cases of disease associated with iron imbalance.

Sunflower honey - liquid, golden, quickly crystallizes and becomes a light amber, sometimes with a greenish or dark tinge, and has a tart taste. Forms coarse crystals.

“Express” (medical and nutritional supplement) honey - This honey is produced for medicinal and related purposes. The special rapid way in which the bee makes honey makes this type of honey ideal for medicinal and vitamin syrups. Instead of processing natural nectar, bees recycle 50% sugar syrup, to which are added extracts of various medicinal herbs, fruit juices, vegetables, medicines, milk, and other medicinal and nutritive substances. 85 different types of medicinal honey are available from the juices of various fruits and vegetables as well as from medications and vitamins added to the syrup. Research results showed that the medications and nutrients in the resulting honey retain their therapeutic properties which are retained when the honey is added to food. Vitamin honey is especially beneficial since the stability of vitamins in other foods is very limited compared to that of honey. Vitamin honey preserves the effectiveness of honey for a long period of time.

In addition to honey, we offer a full line of bee products - propolis, bee venom, pollen, ambrosia, and wax, all created from materials which are collected from flowering plants. These substances are also known for having medicinal value.
